Howell Nature Center School-Wide Trip!

Some SK students ventured out mid-morning with some passengers announcing a "1st Yellow School Bus ride ever!"
After receiving orientation inside, rousing games of "Ga-ga  Ball" (similar to soccer but hands on and legs are out)  ensued to let off some energy.
A workshop called "Skins and Skulls" provided interesting information about Michigan wildlife.
Carnivore, herbivore, or omnivore?
Long canine teeth and positioning of eye sockets give clues to identifying the species and its eating preferences.
Camouflage spots protect animals during their young lives and in particular seasons.
A lovely fairy house village attracted several fairy lovers.
Anansi has nothing on this web weaver (climber)!
Tree stump  "cookies" provide a rustic walking path.   The playground area was designed  out of mostly natural materials and with excellent use of the multi-leveled terrain and surrounding trees.
